Phase 2 FAQ

Deadlines, grace periods & violations

Clear answers for your Fatoora integration, with official notices taking priority.

What is Phase 2 integration?

Phase 2 connects your compliant invoicing solution to ZATCA’s Fatoora platform. Installing software alone is not enough: production onboarding and the required invoice clearance or reporting must work.

How do I know my integration deadline?

Check the direct notification from ZATCA and your account on the official portal. Published wave dates describe groups of taxpayers; they do not authenticate your notice or establish your individual deadline. ZATCA states that targeted taxpayers are notified at least six months before integration.

Does everyone receive a grace period?

Do not assume an automatic extension. A six-month advance notification is not an extra six months after the integration deadline. If you received a grace-period message, verify its authenticity, exact end date and conditions with ZATCA. Do not calculate a new deadline from a generic rule.

What if I missed the deadline?

Start corrective integration promptly, check your ZATCA account for notices, and preserve evidence of your implementation work. Ask a specialist to review production onboarding, reporting and clearance failures. Late integration does not automatically remove an existing violation.

What penalties apply to my violation?

The amount depends on the violation, applicable regulation and official decision. There is no single universal Phase 2 fine. Check the violation notice and current official penalties guidance; this website and its AI cannot determine or guarantee the amount, cancellation or outcome of an objection.

Does a fines-relief initiative waive all penalties?

No. An initiative has its own validity period, conditions and exclusions. It is separate from your integration deadline or an individual grace period. Verify whether a current official initiative covers your specific violation; do not rely on an expired announcement.

Can eServices KSA help with late integration and violations?

Yes. We review grace-period notices, complete corrective Phase 2 integration, and support specialist review of violations. Only ZATCA can confirm an extension, eligibility, penalty or objection decision.

General guidance only. Verify your notice, any extension and objection deadlines directly with ZATCA.
